Hong Kong International School - Student Surveys of Teacher Practice

EEVALA is working with Hong Kong International School to provide faculty with feedback about the quality of their instructional practices. One way that this is being accomplished is through student surveys of teachers. Student evaluations of teachers have been increasingly used in a variety of educational settings. They have been found to be useful formative and summative tools for educators.

Surveys responses are anonymous, in that no identifying information is collected about students. Responses are aggregated up to the classroom and school level before being shared with HKIS.

Both the upper primary, 6th - 8th, and the 9th - 12th grade surveys are taken online while the lower primary and 4K surveys are administered using paper and pencil.
